How often do you wash......

I haven't ridden regularly for years, I think I used the pragmatic "if they're dirty approach", but now I have some new jods, dark so as not to show the dirt, but they had better go in the wash more often than before.

Well I'm shocked at how high my standards are, I usually wash jods after they have been worn once, very occassionally wear them twice if I have ridden but managed to say super clean (this doesn't happen often!)

Coats get washed frequently too, probably get worn for a couple of weeks maximum, but if it's muddy less than a week. I do however, have a lot of horrible coats that are kept for horse jobs so I can fill the machine each time. My daughter cringes at some of my Ebay bargains that have been specifically bought for horsey tasks!

When I only rode in lessons once or twice a week I washed them after each wear. Now I tend to do them about once a week and will have worn them 3-4 times but only to ride as I'm on part livery. If I'm not riding I wear jeans.

I don't wear jods, only jeans as not ridden for months! They only get washed when I stand in the queue at Asda, think that someone else in the queue really stinks, and then realise that it's me :)
I am officially a minger

Mine get washed when they start to look (and smell) as though they could walk away on their own:o

Mind you - I do have to undress in the conservatory
