I clean my mine before every competition, usually once a week. You?

I try and clean mine once a week, but realistically it only definitely gets done before a competition, so every 2- 3 weeks at the mo. (I don't count lessons/clinics etc

Hi - I put every time I ride which is every day ATM. I haven't got OCD honest! It's just that if I didn't clean it evey time I rode I would end up not cleaning it at all.

I used to share a horse and her owner was religious about tack cleaning and it got me into the habit.

I hate to see people who don't clean their bit out after riding. I think it's unfair to the horse to put a gunky crusty bit in their mouth.

I do the bit every day and the rest either before a competition, when it looks like it needs it, and after anything like a fun ride or hunting.

I am good though and when I do clean it, I take it to pieces, scrub it, saddle soap it and oil it

I clean mine after every ride! Which is normally every day, so 3 bridles and 3 saddles! My boot sget cleaned once a week and bandages get washed after every 2 times of using them!! Only started doing this 5 months ago, but has made SUCH a difference to my tack, it's just become a routine and I wouldn't go back to not cleaning it after every time I ride!!

Well, I guess it is quite good although not top of the range

My saddle gets polished by my bum

I am awful and have to admit it is very rarely indeed, but i hasten to add i do not own beautiful high quality tack, otherwise i may clean it more often!
