I'm 43.

We have a customer who is in her late 80's. You would assume that when her mare had to retire through injury, the rider would hang up her boots. Nah. The local MFH has sourced her a good hunting pony, and she's up front of the field again...

Yes!!!!! Old girl power. Just love it.

Will be 26 end of summer.....we have a lady up our yard who is 60 and has a very feisty mare that she rides every day.....i want to be her when im older :D

Xx

41 and just coming back into riding horses after having my third child 10 months ago ... Looking forward to at least another 20 years owning and riding my own horses :)

32 this year. Just wanted to say, new riding boots have been on my birthday wish list for 3 years now.... no-one has been forthcoming :( is it a sign?

51:eek: - how did that happen
currently bringing on a 4 yr old & looking to buy a youngster next year & work p/t at a racing yard [ not riding - i have LOTS of self perservation] - am fitter than when i as in my 30s:D

I'm in my late 20s.

My mum has somehow turned 61 when nobody was looking  (she'd love me posting that :o) and she's still riding - quite often with a damn sight more gumption than me...! Unfortunately she's recently been told a bone condition may soon put paid to that. As much as I'd love the Mark Todd and Ariat boots I'd 'inherit', I'd rather have my mum in the saddle so keeping fingers crossed.

53 next month :( Bought my first horse at age 50, something i have been promising myself i would do for over 30 years. Got there in the end. Loving every minute of it, even those freezing winter mornings mucking out, breaking the ice on the water trough, all before going home to get ready for work!

But now shes turned out for the summer, it all seems worth while.:)

27

There's hope for me yet then, to continue riding well into my golden oldie years, judging by some of this lot. :) Still riding and gung-ho at 80 would be fab.

coming up to 18 :) dont think i will be riding in to my 60's i wish i could though, ligaments in my knees hips and ankles and i find riding painful now let alone when im in my sixties!
