how old is a filly when they come into season first ?? Helpp!!

Hi Guys!!

Need A Bit Of Help, How Old Are Fillies When They Come Into Season ?? My Fillies Only 10months Old And Shes Flashin All The Time, Jus Wondering If She Could Be In Season ?? Shes Totally Changed In Attitude Aswell ??

I was told that it usually begins the first spring after the filly's birth (so usually 9-11 months old), though fertility is low until older (e.g. 2yr olds are often put into foal in travelling communities).

yes 9 months onwards , dont b fooled by the " not very fertile" theory , I know of one or two yearlings that got caught in foal at that age
