How old is my horse?

This is a bit random, and not meant as a serious topic of discussion, but if say I wanted to sell this horse, how old would you say he is?

He's a full TB, born 13 August 1991 in Australia. He now lives in the UK but his Studbook official birthday would be 1st August in Australia.

So is he 19 or 18? Or, as he thinks, 4!!

BE and VHS say he's 19.

horse are technically aged on the 1st of January so he would be 19

Yes, in this country, but in Australia he would be 18

But they are on the other side of the world so up here he is 81

there calendar is the same as ours the only difference is its cold in july and hot in December over there. as he is in this country to compete under our rules he would be 19, my gelding who was born on the 2nd of april 1992 is classed as 18 though technically he won't be 18 until april.
