How old is your show jacket? For fun!

My black jacket is 25 years old and barely used. Never really got the oppotunity to go to shows as a teenager and when I started competing as an adult I got a tweed to event in. Only wear it when its to hot for tweed.
Still fits. I think it must of been a large fit as I was no more than 7 stone when I got it and I have filled out since.

my hacking jacket is 22 years old - still fits and is still in use..... I bought it new with my first "wage" when i was 12 :)
Numerous ponies, horses and 2 children later - I am still wearing it :)

My hacking jacket is 20 years old too, 3 kids later it is still in use. It does not get much use, the odd dressage test here and there when I am feeling ambitious. Most of the SJ venues near us don't expect show dress for unaffiliated SJ and I generally wear a black jumper on top of a shirt and tie as its more comfy.

My black jacket was passed down to me by a relative and she bought it in the 1950s. It still looks wonderful and the construction and tailoring is amazing.
My tweed is only about 8 years old (wonder if it will be still going strong in another 50 years :) )

My tweed is Harry Hall, bought when I was 15/16 for me to 'grow into'... I am now 44 & still haven't grown into it! It is perfectly wearable - I wore it fairly recently on the first (and last) time I went hunting. I also have a nylon Caldene black jacket which is a mere stripling at 24 years old & a black wool Pytchley which is only about 10.
