Yet another clipping questions I'm afraid!!

I've got an important weekend show from the 13th to 15th of October and will need to clip my hairy beast before then, the plan was to do it the weekend of the 8th, but I'm just thinking it would be kinder to do it while its so warm (and I may not get bucked off ), so my question is, if I do it this weekend, will it still look smart in 2 weeks time???!!! Or should I be patient and wait for the weekend after?!

It should be fine as long as you make sure your horse is warm enough if not he will grow in his coat really quickly and it will simply look a mess, seen so many people on my yard make this mistake and find themselfs having to reclip every second week, good luck

I'd definitely do it this weekend, they say 'the difference between a good hair cut and a bad one is 2 weeks!'
Any tramlines or mistakes will have settled down in 2 weeks and the coat with have gone from the dull 'just clipped' look to shiny and bright, ideal for your show.
