Somebody reffered to my pony yesterday as 'that scrawny chestnut thing'

Totally unecessary and hurtful comment

So what if he isn't a bulky plodder like most of the RS horses, he's well made for what he does and if you compare his comp record to anything else on campus he'd come out on top by a mile.

Bitch.

Well when my horse was at college someone who was riding him said he should go back to the trekking centre he came from!! Now thats rude!

I for one wouldnt even take any notice, How is he supposed to play polo if hes a great big heffer? hes like that for the job he does, and he looks fit to me not scrawny.

The only difference I can see between 'scrawny' and, say, 'light-weight' or 'fine' is how much she gave away about herself when she made that comment. It must suck out loud to be her if the only way she can feel good is by trying to hurt others. I'm not sure I'd even bother to get mad - she's demonstrated what she is, and I'd pity her for it.

i keep get told my horse is too fat and doesn't look like his breed (section d). which P**s me off. the fun of livery yards.

Well, my FRIEND referred to my horse as a dobbin horse and all sorts of other derogatory names. My horse is actually stunning and this 'friend' is completely jealous. I've not let her ride my horse since, nor do I intend to.

It may sound petty but its like someone offending my child! I am very protective ans simply won't stand for it.
