Just wanted to see what your views were on my boy. Rising 3 year old welsh x tb, he was for sale but have decided not to now. Havent done a lot with him he`s still a baby so mainly leading around in hand getting him used to scary monsters he has been had work, came with a nice little rearing habit if he didnt want to do something he let you know, put a stop to it and he's quite a chilled out lad now. Did pop him over a small pole today and he took to it quite happily :)

Anyway here he is :) (excuse the OH looking like a scruff he`d been working :))

He was an impulse buy at a sale...... he is proving to be a nice little chap and according to his sire`s owner (RIP Nino) he should be quite a good jumper....he can shift and is extremely agile so x country it is :)

I dont think dam or sire are well known, Sire is a TB El Nino he`s got Fairy King and Northern Dancer lines (fynnon Cadno stud in Carmarthen) Dam is out of Horeb Euros. Very good impulse buy 260 guineas :)

:eek: lovely! I've heard of the ffynoncadno stud (aren't they on another forum?) If he was a filly he'd probably go mysteriously missing...:p any idea what height he'll make?
 
Well Northern Dancer breeding is good, great even, and he is totally gorgeous!!! Dont sell him, have some fun with him first, you might even decide to keep him!!! He really is lovely!!

No idea!!! He`s 15.1hh and a bit now, hoping he`ll be 16hh a lot to ask I know, but PBA was 14.3 at 3 year old and now at almost 5 she`s 16.1hh (she worries me lol)
Fynnon Cadno is on Carmarthen riders forum not sure of anymore :)

He is staying, I`ve been unsure for a while but today after an email off someone it`s a definite no..... even if he turns out to be a total sod he has a home for life with the girls
 
Yep that's where I know ffynoncadno from too, I'm more of an observer on that forum! You're making me even more jealous now saying that he's going to make a good height. My wpb was full up 14.2 when I got him as a 6yo and is now pushing 15 at 14yo so there's definitely hope!

OOO are your from Carmarthen way then? Not long moved here!
 
I'm right on the border of Carmarthen, a bit of a hazy location- even the postmen don't know which county is correct but I consider myself a Carmarthen girl :p If I remember rightly (sure I saw it on one forum) where you moved to is near where I'm hoping to get my wpb filly form next year :)

Yeah I`m right on the Pembrokshire border Red Roses, very little riding :( )...you`ll have to call in for a cuppa when you go to see your filly :)
 
Red Roses is right where my car broke down on my way to get my jrt puppy :( towing it all the way back home was not great! Would be great to meet you :) I'm hoping to go see the kind of stock the lady has before I commit to getting one next year- I'm sure I'll like them :D just what I need- another way to spend my money!

2 cuppas then, can meet the gang :) I`m sure we`ll have a 4th soon!!
Not the nicest place to break down, the a477 and a40 are such boring roads!
