she is looking great. she is still growing and has a few more winter months to endure. maintain this til spring and she will be fine. much better for her at this age to be out and be a horse!

LOL plenty of carrots l buy a net every few weeks. I think it is because she has a love hate relashionship with the gelding that shares her field. She is 4 in march.

Oh god, ben's 18 months now and just short of 14.3  mind you, I did want a great lump of a horse :D Typical mare... I will be grumpy if I want to, and if I choose to be nice, you'd better damn well appreciate it!

My little fluff ball is all wonderfull then for no reason will just nip you! bu**er got my arm the other day so I punched him in the neck and ended up really hurting my hand and feeling guilty for it (although I don't think he even felt it!)

She is really sweet and looking good, I love that you are taking your time and letting her 'be a horse' too many people in a rush these days. Well done you :D

She was very lightly backed in the summer and done a few shows before l got her but l just feel 3yo is to young and when she came to me l flung her in the field and let her be a baby lol.

Thank you everyone she is a sweetie it`s took me a while to bond with her but l think we are getting there now lol. I think it was because l have always had geldings so havin a mare is really diffrent.

I think she looks fantastic.

One thing (at the risk of being called nasty ) please don't tie up long, and feed hay from the floor. It's a disaster waiting to happen.

You are right l should know better but l was with her and didn`t leave her tied up like that it was only cause we were taking pictures.

It's the one thing that really makes me cringe. I've seen a couple of terrible accidents as a result of tying up like that - all with owners in attendnace.

But that aside - she's really nice, and very smart :)
