How tall are you and how tall is your horse??

5'1" and my homebred 3 year old (unbacked) is 16.2 and still growing. Groan....
She was out of my homebred 15.1 TB by a 16.1 WB and was supposed to make around 15.3. The stallion's offspring aren't big, either. Just a pity no one told my filly's genes!!!! LOL. I'm going to need a flipping step-ladder - even with the mounting block!!!

5'5 and 16hh - shes a chunky monkey though who takes up a lot of leg - she has taken a friend of mine hunting who's nearly 6ft and she looked fine on her :)
i feel about perfect on her but many peeps my height feel over horsed as she's quite powerful.....

Im 5'5 ish and m old mare was 14.3hh, LW cob and took my leg well. My current boy is 16.2 prob more 16.3 (he's only 5) and i dont look any different on him than i did on my smaller one.

I'm 5.7 and my horse is 15hh (on a good day!!:D). He's a heavy weight cob so I think I look fine...but then again I've been riding alot more horses recently and people seem to think I suit a taller horse cos they keep saying how I 'match' certain types...worrying cos I've always felt fine on my boy. :(

Also wear 28" junior jodhs which are rolled up!!!!

Have a tiny 23" inside leg measurement!

Just ignore then, they are talking utter rubbish! Please do ignore other people coming out with this tripe, I am sure alot of people would like to see me on a bigger horse but when both me and my horse are happy then they can bugger off as far as I am concerned. I ride a 14.2hh and am 5'5-5'6

i'm just over 5"9 and taz is just about 17hhs now :O and still blooming growing :( theres days that i look big on him, and other days that i look tiny, yet i can ride my sisters loan pony bruce and look fine on him and he is only just 14hhs

I'm 6'1 and my cob horse is 15.1-15.2hh and my 1/2 cob is 16.1hh. I think I'm OK on them= I'm obssessed with looking like a giant but they seem to carry me oK. I have a 16.3hh TB and looked big on him- bigger than I look on my cob I think.

I am 5'6" and my horse is 16.2hh. I had a friend once who was 5'8" and her horse was 15hh. I think as long as the horse is comfortable with you then what does it matter? :)

I'm 5'7" and my arab is 14.3hh, I ride fairly short and dont think I look too big on him, although I seem to be fairly tall on a 14.3hh from the few replies I've read!! I am only slim though so weight not an issue at all :)

im an odd one im 5'7''
out of my two my main girl is a 14.2 dales pony and my other girly is 15.3 ISH

im also riding a 15.3 welsh cob for a friend schooling him up and teaching him some manners out hacking lovely chap though

I'm 5ft6 and ride a 16.1hh most of the time, I also have a little 15hh TB that feels like a pony to me and a 17.2hh 3yro which makes me feel like I'm a child again, legs don't reach very far!! LOL..............

Please do not laugh at me, I am in the short person club. :D However I love riding the bigger types. I currently ride:

17.0hh Dutch Warmblood (He is all leg however)
14.1hh Connie
15.2hh TB (very fine- failed flat racer)

Must admit I look a little big on the connie now, I stand at about 5'2/5'3. I don't think I look overally small on my eventer, see for yourself :D

Here I am on the connie (I apologise for the extremely short stirrups, I am so used to riding short XC that long showjumping just dooesn't feel right).
