Horse seems to have mild white line disease so I am going to use hydrogen peroxide... but how? Just scrub with it or soak in it? She is still quite young and can be silly so I'm wary of tying to use my soaking boot. Easiest would be to clean the foot and then wipe/scrub with the stuff but will this do any good? Never used it before hence the thicko questions!
Thanks

I have used a syringe for seedy toe but would be tempted to syringe onto area requiring treatment. I’m sure wiping/soaking would be fine But possibly wasteful or the hydrogen peroxide...trial and error will show you what suits best.

If I pour/syringe it on, will it not all just drain back off again as soon as I put the foot down? That's the bit I'm struggling with....

My understanding is that it acts on contact so does not need prolonged contact, it's very strong stuff.
I realise it is a safe and good product for many situations and have used it for seedy toe.

I’d hold the foot while it works, thats how I do it for seedy toe. You see it working immediately so don’t have to hold it for too long at all.

3% H2O2 is a great all round antibac and safe enough to use - wont damage healthy tissue.

Syringe would help not waste it and focus it into the white line. Due to its watery consistency, it will soak in straight away and start killing pathogens Immediately on contact. You may even hear it ‘fizzing’ in there.
Hold the foot up for half a minute or as long as pony will allow, to aid it to soak in and reduce ‘run off’.
Apply daily iðeally.

Ah, that makes more sense! I just have some small bottles from the chemist at the moment, 6% and 9% - it says to dilute by half for human skin but maybe I should just apply it as is for a hoof?

Buy a litre off ebay at maximum strength and water it down to 3%. Use it in copious amounts with the foot held sole up until it stops fizzing. The fizzing is the release of oxygen and the oxygen stops the bugs from multiplying.

depends on the issue, i had to put in syringe and squirt it in, other times just pour from bottle.
