How to clean Ariat waxed chaps??

I have a lovely pair of Ariat Close Contact chaps, and wore them for the first time out cubbing yesterday. Possibly the comfiest pair of gaiters and boots (also Ariat) I have ever worn!!

They are rather dirty now and need to be cleaned for next week

I don't want to use leather polish as the chaps are waxed, so what can I use to clean them?

a sponge with warm water and some saddle soap thats what i use to clean mines and they come up as good as new
