As above any tips?

Fussy cob will not eat feed with danilon in. Always used to in the past but has now decided he doesnt like it anymore.

Has fast fibre and topchop lite x

I had trouble getting steroids down my horse - they are very bitter and unpalatable so I mixed them into either jam or apple sauce!! Ok if he is not a lami risk and needs to watch his sugar.

How many times has he refused it I had same with giving my cob his bute. I think he just wants to eat grass and the fast fibre did not impress him when the grass was good. But then he started eating it again - so I had stressed over it and fussed around with honey and apple sauce for no reason.

I thought danilon was suppose to be quite palatable for them i know my horse will eat it out of my hand, only suggestion really is to put it inside an apple or something!

I don't know any horse that doesn't like Danilon because of the sugar coating! Even when I am putting it in the feed I am breathing in its sweetness.

Have you changed any other element of his feed? If not, I swear by a nice glug of molasses, although it obviously is bad for sugar intolerant horses. Either that or putting mint in the feed.

I get a couple of fresh mint leaves out of the garden and chop them finely so the minty oil is released and smell is strong, then mix with feed. Works well for my horses when faced with something they are not keen on

My horse won't eat it in her food so I get an apple cut it into quarters then slice 2 of these in half pour the danillon in and put them back together. Feed one with out first then the two with danillion next then the last tasty one to take away the taste. Worth a go if nothing else works
