The lovely lady who has been riding HP needs more time to ride her own daughters horse so I need to go out & find a sharer. Never had to do this before & was wondering the best way to go about it. I'm thinking of putting an advert on RC website & contacting PC DC. I'm a bit cautious about putting an ad in feed stores etc as I'm worried about attracting numpties (he's a very pretty horse) - am I being uber nervous & missing a good place out?
Also what do I ask for - for 3 days I was thing £100 per month & poo picking on those days. Does that seem fair?
Are there any tricks for spotting the sharers who will be unreliable?

I put an add on preloved, but made it clear I wanted the horse schooled, thus stopping calls from pony mad kids wanting free riding. .. "£100 is fine, I have only had two responses but both were from good riders, though other things intervened to stop the loan/shre proceeding.
Its fine to use feedstores because at least they have customers who know there is more to horses than turning up in time for a lesson.

I found my two sharers by putting a card in out local sweet shop / deliy window. tried local horse mag got nothing. We vetted all the applicants and stated not novice ride / not childrens ride

I charge £ 15 per time ie day my 1 sharer can only do 2 days the other has the other horse 3 days but i do all the poopicking as i have to do all the fields anyway

Have to say mrsD123 most decent riders would not pay to school your horse for you!!!
