How to find history on my horse.

I've had my boy for 7 months now and I love him so much, and he is fantastic. I would love to find out about his history, the things he's done and the places he's been. I have no idea where to start! Any tips or advice would be great! :)

Coolies!! Well, he's an 18 year old Dutch WB KWPN registered. His name is Luke, posh name Koncorde. He's 17.1hh, chestnut. His Dad is called Concorde, also known as Olympic Concorde. All I know is that he was at Wembury Stables in Plymouth for a little while. But he must of done lot's of jumpies in his time as he LOVES it and is cracking at it!! He also has a freezemark, A30. He spent some time in Torquay too, I'm guessing so anyway, as it's in his passport!! :D

I used to live there! (both torquay and plymouth!) My sister lived in wembury!!! Right, what was the name of the owners in torquay? Do you have a dams name?

Lady's name is Jennifer Staples. I've tried to get in touch with her but no luck yet. His Dams name is on his breeding document which is up the yard and I can't remember off the top of my head!! I'll have a look tomorrow and let you know! Small world eh!! xx

Thank you! His Dad is a stunner, know where my boy gets his good looks from!! I think the first address on his passport is a Plymouth one, a guy called Christian, who apparantly used to own Zero's nightclub. I'll get all the info off his passport and breeding doc tomorrow so we can do some more findings out maybe!! :D
 
Oh my!! I've just uploaded a little album of him (only 3 pics at the mo) on my profile thingy. Fancy that, our boys being related, even if it is only distantly!!!

if you want a real challenge id love some history on my unknown mare..!...but with no papers except a passport i feel i have no chance :D

What information is on the passport? Name/ dam/ sire/ previous owners? date of registration/ age and where and who did you buy from?
 
Ok people, I have one for you, my old horse, don't know if she is alive she was born in 1975, so unlikely, but I would like to know what happened to her after her sale was pressed upon me by an unreasonable, and violent husband. She was Freezemarked K922, by Farmkey, they have written to her last registered owners on my behalf, but nothing, she was a Conemara x TB x Arab, chestnut, off hind white sock and a white face, anyone who read "Jinny at Finmory" books in the '80's, double of the horse on the cover! She went to a family named Phillips in Essex, I had their number and called, but it was no longer their number....Her sire was Sarnau Golden Crusader, thats all I know, her dam was an unregistered Conemara x Arab anything would be great!:D

I would love to know my ponies past. I bought him from a dealer and he had a new passport so I imagine his name etc is different. He's 13.2hh (maybe a touch over) around 13yrs and by looks could be a welsh sec C or welsh x? He's chestnut with four white socks and a blaze which is actually a co-joined star and snip but looks like a blaze. He has two white scars under his jaw but I don't know how long they have been there. His name is Harvey but it might not be his original name. I bought him from a dealers called crown equines but his passport first owner was a Kevin Raby who runs The Queen Elizabeth Riding School in London. I'd love to know his past and what he has or hasn't done good or bad. He has his problems but overall is a fab pony!
