how to find out re home office, someone been deported info?

Trying to find information re a person of non british nationality who has been deported back to their home country ??

how could i trace this person , or find out details re the where and when etc ??

any thoughts appreciated .

The Home Office will hold details of them and what happened if they've gone through the system (eg failed asylum, voluntary return, refused at port etc) but I doubt they would release details unless you are named as a sponsor or the information pertains to you. Data protection and all that...

There are records/archives (I work for the Home Office (UKBA)) but as they're personal details they can't be released, I'm afraid. Have you lost touch with someone or something?

yeah i was hoping just to find out when they were deported and if they would be allowed back in uk or when ???

As previously said Home Office records would not be released however if they have been deported (this is usually only if someone has a criminal record) they would not be allowed back for up to 10 years. If they had been 'removed' they can return providing they have the correct documentation i.e passport and visa. Does that help?
