How to find out the unlaiden weight of a horsebox?????

It depends where you are in the UK. Type 'local weighbridge' and your county/area into google and you should find your local one. Then you will need to give them a call to find out how you go about it.
 
Should be on the MOT/Plate certificate

Your MoT report will have the weight of each axle on the rolling road print-out. Its not as accurate as a weighbridge, but near enough.

Don't forget that fuel and water each weigh 1T/m3 on top!
 
I wanted to know this too and was told that our local tip has a weighbridge and that for a small fee they will weigh the box and give you a print out of the weight. Worth a try.
 
try your local council to see if they have a weighbridge or failing that most large scrap metal companies/metal recycling companies have one. We used one locally, cost about £8 to have it weighed front and back axles and total weight and you get a print out. I did one when selling my last lorry and was actually surprised at how much capacity we had in it.

The unladen weight won't be on the plate certificate but the maximum weight will be! Therefore if your vehicle is plated for 3500kg that means that you cannot exceed that amouont not that it is the unladen weight

The only way to find out is to go to a public weighbridge or if you have a haulage yard close by, often they have their own that they may ket you use.
