How to get posts into hardstanding?

What sort of hardstanding? Depending what it is you can hire a post hole borer or jackhammer I think it's called.

I think it's road plannings but it is very solid current a driveway. I'll look into those thanks

We have used a heavy iron bar to make the hole and then a post knocker to drive the post in (bloody hard work) Can you put the posts in just off the edge of the hardstanding?
