How to get rid of fly eggs on horse

My horse has loads of little yellows things mainly on his legs but a few on his tummy and in his mane. I thought it was a plant he was brushing against in the field but have now found out they are fly eggs. They don't brush off, so wondered if anyone had anytips for getting these off? Thanks

They are Bots - you can get a bot knife (looks like a farrier tool) from most saddleries/online for under £10. They gently scrape them off.

An old-fashioned tip (I know a lot of those, lol) is to wipe them over with vinegar to loosen them.

or use a hacksaw blade - carefully of course!
