how to get rid of these for tomorrow?

well i have sunshine tour tomorrow and pony has decided to design his own quarter marking and rub his bottom on the fence....causing some rather attractive looking lines across his backside!! the hair is sticking up VERY obviously hahaha...how can i make him look presentable and get rid of them???P
hes also gone into winter mode and is really fluffy and scurfy! but hopefully wet wipes should sort that

If it 'twer me I would hot cloth it to heat the hair folicles and brush it down and repeat Maybe a smidge of watered down gel
