I need to clip my boys legs again. He can be a bit of a fidget.
I’ve got gel from the vets and have seen it needs to go under the tongue. He isn’t good with wormers. Retired so isn’t used to a bridle ect any more.
Can anyone think of ideas to give it to him without the syringe and stressing him out?

I’d go with using a bridle. I wouldn’t expect him to have forgotten completely how to accept it and I think it would give you more chance of getting the domosedan to the correct area (can be ineffective if not administered carefully in my experience).

I would also practice this regularly so when you need to do it for real it's not such a problem. I practice with a carrot - he used to freak out with anything going in his mouth , the carrot goy him over the fear ! (I wiggle it in his mouth like it was a worming tube or similar)

I had a helper and got hold of my boys tongue while the other person squirted it. Note: Do not pull the tongue just move it to one side and they won’t close their mouth. You have to be quite quickly though.

I just put it on my finger and rub it into the gums, works fine.

Are the inside of his lips and cheeks also mucous membranes ? I like the glove and rubbing idea:)
I can try with apple sauce first then put the gel on one finger and apple on another ?
