How to go about a pony that doesn't like headcollar

My friend has a pony that doesn't like headcollars he will come up ,she will approach him put collar around neck soon as she moves it towards poll area he will tank off ,he's fine once he's caught and he is not head shy just doesn't like the headcollar placed behind ears any suggestions she wants to solve this problem
 
My share pony does that so now he's just turned out with his headcollar on so that we can just clip on a leadrope. Not sure what you could do for the time being though as i'm sure you've tried feed scoops etc.
 
Yer she tried feeding etc and he still does it ,she's left headcollar on and he gets it off ,she got to a point where she wants to solve the problem and not to just keep hiding with just keeping the collar on
 
She's tried that he does it when anything in a way of headcollar approaches his poll ,bridling he's fine it's only headcollars or in the line of headcollars
 
For a while my horse went through the stage of not wanting to be caught with her headcollar or being caught then taking off with me after i'd put her headcollar on her so I decided to try catching her in her bridal, it's a bit more of a faf than putting on a headcollar but it seemed to stop her taking off! hope you can stop the problem!
