Depends on your budget,
what age/bloodlines you're looking for ie an ISH which is mainly warmblood or a TIH (traditional Irish horse) which is a mix of traditional Irish breeds eg TBx Irish draught
How old/backed/ridden away/doing a job already??
You could contact breeders, producers, dealers, private sellers ..... Depends a lot on what you want.

Preferably looking for either straight from breeder/just come in or just backed. I just don’t know who the good dealers or breeders are. Very open on what type

Actually ino of 2 three year olds but they're private seller and I don’t know them well enough to give a recommendation

I don't know much about breeders and sellers in Ireland and i live here! People here still seem to look on donedeal and also go through word of mouth and use facebook too.

Someone I know bought a horse from this yard and the horse seemed very nice. They have a mix of different types though so not all ISH.

Adam Ferris gets lovely horses at an age to be started.

Sue shuttleworth imports them and usually sells after starting

Irish sports equine seem to be aimed at the overseas market and they're all riding away with the basics covered (at 4 😬) but they do get some nice and well bred horses cropping up.
