how to keep feathers?

anyone have any tips on keeping feather? epes in all this bad weather with mud ect.

pig oil and flowers of sulphur....always mentioned on hho......spot test 1st

Mix equal quantities of economy baby oil and white vinegar and place in an old washed out kitchen squirter - shake well and spray on to legs - rub in. Wash hands or you will smell like a chip shop!

god i can just imagine the smell lol!!

To be honest I leave them alone, aside from once a week to spray down with 'seven-day-mud-away' spray, it keeps the worst of the mud off.
Don't hose them off or anything as this just gets them even wetter than the mud.
