How to keep feet warm in wellies

Fleece liners - mine are dubarry with a nice faux fur top, but any fleece liner would do, these I use in my homebase cheapie special wellies.

My MIL bought me a pair of battery operated socks that heat up - they lasted me two winters and were quite safe to use. Awesomely warm tootsies

I wear Muck Boots. At the moment I have just one pair of socks on and my feet are pretty toastie. When it gets really cold I wear a pair of normal thick socks on top of my normal ones. Don't think I've ever come across wellies that keep my feet so warm!

I'm another muckboot convert, hate normal wellies but these are genius, toasty warm feet even when standing on the back of a carriage for hours - and nothing else has ever managed that before!!

Another vote for heat holders or the ones that heat up by battery. I am already struggling with my feet as my arthritis seems to have started in my other foot this year...so I have to keep them as warm as possible.

Make sure they aren't too tight - tight wellies zap the heat from your feet. You need some space to trap the air. And I use ski socks and wellie warmers :)

I suffer really badly with cold feet in the winter. Heat Holder socks are just brilliant. Look them up online.

This! Bought a few more pairs the other day as I love them! If you have a matalan near you have a look in there as that's where I got my new ones from if not think they are made by the sock company (or similar name)

I suffer with the cold really bad. My hands and feet are always cold and ven with the warm summer we've had, I was sat on th beach in a jumper. Hubby always complains when he holds my hands! Someone recommended to start taking sea kelp tablets from holland and Barrett and I'm surprised to say that they are working. I don't feel so cold in myself and even hubby has commented on how warm my hands have been just lately. If I forget to take them then I feel it. Obviously winter will be the real test but might be worth a try!
