My horse has developed a bacterial infection in his frog and heels and unless I can keep it clean and dry he is on box rest for the next ten days
I have looked at footskin with the idea of putting over a dressing and vetrap and then duct tapeing with maybe mudfever boots on leg for full protection
!! I only intend to get him out for a couple of hours but this might just keep him sane! Has anyone tried these or the Equiwelli? I don't think a horseboot will work as he still has a back shoe on and also would be worried that it would rub his heel.
Vet has recommended that I ride him twice a day but with work that's not going to happen
Has also said that as long as it is clean and dry no problem being out for a short time.
I really hate keeping mine in
He also has a allergy so not best situation for him
