How do you keep your horses back legs clean while travelling to shows? Mine always has his lovely white socks covered in poo by the time we get there.

When I was a groom for coloured show cobs we used stable wraps with bandages over the top and hock gamgee for the back legs.

After they are bathed we smother the white legs in chalk paste wrap bandage and the lot stays on until they get to the show.

I have a coloured with white legs/hocks. I always use travel boots covering his hocks. I also spray mane and tail spray on his hocks. If they do get mucky it doesn't soak in and wipes off easily. I don't show though so I'm not too worried if his legs aren't perfect.

This has worked for me in the past.
