Does anyone have any suggestions how I can keepo my pony going round courses? Without me having to constantly kick

Thanks[:

Lots of schooling including transitions to get her off the leg. She should learn to then respond to the slightest leg aid. If this fails and you have a secure lower leg position may try some spurs (ideally dummy / roller balls to start). If your leg position is not great then give her a little tap if she ignores your leg

How fit is your pony?
If she is not fit then you are going to struggle, think of running the London marathon when you have not trained for it.
Likewise are you feeding enough/correctly for the workload you are asking for?

Yes she is deffinately fit! - she came from a riding school where they worked her pretty hard! Dont know about the food?!:S

Thanks for replys![:

That could be part of the problem. If she was 'worked hard' at the riding school it is possible she has become rather dead to the leg - some RS ponies do. She may need some more schooling to get her back on track - the transitions mentioned before. How old is she, what work is she doing and what is she being fed?

I have no good advise...use a whip?

But monkeybum13 I totally read that as (ideally dummy/roller blades to start)!!!

Funny image in the head!!!

lol.
