how to marry a jockey ??

If lifes good and he is getting lots of rides and the money is coming in and you dont have to work then life is great, you wont see much of him because he will be travelling all the time going racing, when he has a big winner he will be celebrating with the owner, what other nice ladies will be in attendance, if he has a big ride the next day he wont be eating so will be moody, let alone little man syndrome, but because he lives on a high when life is good it will be good, but if he isnt getting the rides and money isnt coming in and he isnt getting the adrenalin rush life could be very depressing which could lead to mood swings, frustrations, violence, too much alcohol, and they usually dont have other qualifications to fall back on if it doesnt work out.

Dont expect late lie ins, they have horses to ride, a job to do, and if they are racing on boxing day well dont expect to celebrate christmas day. It isnt their fault but sadly it is their life style. I should know i have married two in my life, been there, seen it, done it, got the t shirt.

But hey if you meet the man of your dreams who cares what he does for a living.

Having just finished AP McCoy's autobiography (and my penchant for tall men) I wouldn't want to marry a jockey in a million years.

I suggest you read it OP.

No no no you to arrange for your father to be thevery keen owner of numerous racehorses live in house with at least a two mile private drive to get to the house bordered by paddocks full of well bred Youngstock , you should also arrange to be an only child ( you may need to despatch your siblings ) you will of course need to be an very attractive model type ( plastic surgery may be a help here ) it may also be a good idea to get a degree as a physio with a special interest in trauma rehab get all that in place and you almost cant fail to find a jockey to marry you.

And the most important thing that you need is a blind eye when it comes to 'overnight racing'

If you put up with one.........why did you go for the second :O sounds like you've got the full wardrobe!!!!

Didnt learn the first time too young, only age made me see things differently, but hey i am still married to the second one and he has since retired, lol

I am married to one... Retired now when he was racing he was 5'11",kind, loyal, faithful, battered, bruised, funny and a fantastic father... Not all jockeys are tossers!

No one said jockeys were tossers, what was said is that it is not them, it is the lifestyle they have, the pressure of winning and losing, even Frankie admitted when the chips were down he made a mistake, so did Kieran, with all their money and fame pressure gets to them, just as it gets to all of us at times, and its how we deal with it.

The difference between jockeys and the next man on this earth, is the next man can tuck into a juicy steak with chips and all the trimmings, poor jockeys have to watch what they eat all the time and you know what it is like to be on diet, it can affect our emotions, but that is our choice to lose weight, for a jockey he is constantly watching his weight

In my younger days (eons ago) I met a jockey/stable lad in a pub on holiday. It was very romantic, as we got outside the pub it was raining so he took off his leather jacket to put over my shoulders, and walked me back to where I was staying. As we kissed I realised he had quite a few gaps in his mouth, where his teeth were missing!!

How about stop posting such childish crap that makes you look like a weird stalker, close down the laptop and get out in the REAL world, meet real people and maybe just maybe you'll meet somebody and love them for who they are not what they do.

agree with this.
