i need to get my horse a new noseband because the other isnt long enough for her ( comes just below her eyes instead of being on her nose) she has a cob size bridle. how do i find out what size noseband? thankyou

Pink equine have a guide, am assuming it's how it's done...I haven't measured mine at any point...
You would probably want to measure the headpiece of yours too, as that's what's too short.

thanks to both of you. everything else fits fine i got it fitted by someone but later bought a new nose band as it was a flash and i wanted to change to a snaffle. ive measured her by the guide and she is a full, she has a long face.

You could have just had the flash loop removed rather than buy a new noseband?
Alot of manufacturers have different sizes for the same things.
For instance if I refer to my own standard measurements for making bridles for full, cob sizes etc which I have had written down from when I first trained about 25 years ago, they can vary by as much as 2 inches all round than if I refer to books printed with the measurements in more recent times.
Enough to drive you mad!
Oz :)

How did you work that out? The noseband is a completely separate item!

The head piece of the noseband. I probably didn't express it clearly, but if the noseband is sitting too high it's the strap that goes over the head that's the problem.
The link I posted only mentioned the actual noseband.
