How can I go about reporting a bridleway problem? I have tried looking on the internet and can't seem to find anything to help

The problems are:
The bridleway has overgrown - a lot
In areas it has been really cut up over the winter and now that it's become rock solid it's ankle (fetlock) breaking
A couple of the gates are terrible to open, one has old bits of sharp rusty metal I think to try and act as a counterbalance to close the gate, not only does this not work but should a horse back into them they look deadly

Any help greatly appreciated :)

We are currently in the middle of a wrangle with one, if the Council is very busy it will go to the bottom of the pile; you need to make sure all the local riders also complain-it seems the more complaints they get the higher you get in the pile - sadly there are only 3 of us round here who can be bothered.

Contact your local BHS CABO who will work with you in resolving your problem. Also contact your local Council RoW officer. PM me where you live and i will let you you have detais of your local BHS conact.
