Well what a horrible day that was!! Never cryed so much in my life, especially when the bugger neighed when i shut the trailer door :-(

He travelled 6 hours :-o but is loving hes new home being spoilt :) He went to a bloke wanting a happy hacker/ low key hunter. Hes settled in very well and hes going to keep intouch with txt's and pics :-D Im a very happy girl! What a life, out of the boring dressage areana and galloping around wales for the rest of hes life :D xx
 
thats fab news, i know how heartbreaking it can be. I was thinking of selling one of my mares as she needs a lower key home than me but after spending a whole day in tears i decided to loan her instead then have her back in a few years to breed from. Now im really worried that even after getting refs etc she will end up with someone who will sell her without me knowing!! Ive been told so many stories lately! :(
 
Thankyou all, I was in such a state I nearly forgot to get the money off him lol, escada2004 it is harder to loan I think, I've had a few horrible experiences with loaning, while I've loaned out and had horses on loan, I think selling is definitely the easier option x

Ive heard lots of horror stories to but also lots of good ones. Im being over the top picky and also interrigating any potential loanees like im the FBI. Ive asked for minimum of two references, ID, proof of address, YO details and a full contract to be signed with my personal requests so im hoping it will all work out. :(
 
There are defo good stories too, I had my first horse on loan for 14 years right until the end of he's life, He was the love of my life and the best horse ever :)

thats made me feel better :) plus first people come to try her tonight and they were fab! The guy rode my mare amazingly and she really took to him :) so we will see.
 
Aww tht sounds promising then! Fingers crossed you find the perfect home, Thankyou Mandy moo lots of hugs has worked a treat :) but why is it when someone cuddles you, you cry 10 times more? Cuddling is meant to make you feel better lol x
