hi, i have has my horse for 4 months, she settled very quickly and was brilliant for the first 3 months, then she started getting out her field and became on edge, i had to move her to a different field (same yard), she has had two shocks of the new fence and is so unsettled and on edge, she is a completly different horse. she wont come away from other horses and seems a bit scared, antone have any tips on settling her back in?

I would spend time bonding time with her, make yourself more interesting to be with than the other horses, spend time grooming, scratching her itchy bits, both of mine would rather spend time with me than their fieldmate, both call to me on sight, come to a whistle, I have to seperate the barn to give individual attention, as my lad will chase the mare off, given half a chance.
But first of all, try and find out why she is getting out of the field

Got my new mare in July and she's a sensitive sort. She quivered for a few weeks everytime I brought her in. Routine seems to help her keep calm. Be patient with your horse, things will improve.

thanks for your comments, i dont think she trusts me or particually likes me at the moment which is 90% of our problems. i turn her out around half 8 and bring her in around 4, we were riding twice in the week and at weekends but with the snow i havent managed to ride since thursday, hoping to ride tomorrow, we mostly ride in the morning. she has spent her whole life (16 years) on the same yard with the same owner, so i understand why she is finding it hard to settle and trust me! It just puzzles me why she was so good and laid back for the first 3 months, can any one suggest good ways of bonding with her, what sort of ground work should i do with her?
