weve had our dally for about 2 years now he is a rescue dog so does have his issues. However, just lately hes barking alot in the house. I've used water sprays which seemed to work for a short period of time. We tried an anti barking collor which transmitted a sound but it seemed to really bother him and had the opposite affect.
He barks if he sees someone out the window, if someone knocks on the door, he barks at my mum when shes eating or just if shes sitting there, he'll bark if hes shut in the kitchen.
Now he doesn't seem too bad when its just me cause i can tell him off and he does eventually listen and stops the barking but its because there are more of us in the house and my mum wont tell him she makes me. Which i feel is proberbly part of the problem with the whole dominance issue. Im just wondering if there are any techniques that can be suggested for us all to carry out to minimise the barking as im sure my neighbours are at the end of their tether.
thanks in advance
