I have to 8 y/o male chinese crested powder puffs and they bark all the time! Does anyone have any tips to help stop the barking? I am not home all day so I can not tell them to stop barking all the time.

What kind of barking is it? Are they barking at people going past or things going on outside, or are they barking because they are bored or stressed?

You need to figure out the cause of the barking in order to address it.

It's often due to the dog gettin overly excited. Long periods of boredom then sudden stimuli should be avoided.

Some dogs are inclined to bark a lot, others never do.

I had a retired hound that I only heard bark a handful of times ever.

Are they left indoors when you go out? Can they see out of the windows? Are you able to adapt where you leave them so that they can't see the squirrels/dogs?

Do you leave them anything to do while you are out? Maybe a Kong stuffed with something that takes a long time to get, or even just leaving the radio on.
