How to stop horse....

Goli has got into the habit that if he is in the stable and you are there but not paying attention to him he grinds his teeth across the outside of his stable door.
He only ever does this when he wants your attention tho!
Any ideas on stopping this?

You could put Cribox on the surface, it tastes nasty and would probably put him off!

Old carpet nail gunned onto the outside of the door or where ever he is grinding might do the trick. That is a horrid noise!

any horse on our yard that does anything annoying in the stable gets a cup of water thrown at him/her, it only takes a few times for them to learn and all have great stable manners, it saves having to shout or get angry time and time again and doesnt hurt anything (apart from the horses ego!)

don't give in and give him the attention he's wanting....if he's only doing it for attention - hopefully he'll soon give in when he doesn't get any ...
