How to stop rubber mats moving?

I have a set of really heavy stable mats in C's stable - paid about £35 per mat to make sure I got good heavy ones that would last.

My current stable is a funny shape and as a result I can only fit 5 of my 6 mats in and then there are a few places where the mat doesn't cover - only at the front of the stable near the door and where his water sits but it means the mats are constantly moving.

I'm loath to chop up my spare mat as it was expensive and if I ever move to another stable it will be useless.

Is there anything that you can use underneath them to stop them from moving?

Thnx

I dont think there is anything actually designed for this problem but can you wedge bits of wood between the wall and mat either side to keep in place? you could still move them if need be to sweep.

Hope that makes sense! at work the mats are about 2" from the front of the stable so we have little blocks of wood which just sit in and wedge them still.

Ours don't move, even when there is a gap. They are mostly cut down to size though.

Could you buy a cheap mat to cut up? Something like a Robinsons one.
