How to stop sand in indoor school campacting?

Hi

We have a little indoor school which has just has a new layer of sand put down today, what is the best way to stop it compacting? Thanks, any advice much appreciated!

My outdoor school is mainly sand and becomes compacted and rides 'hard'. I have a harrow with a row of spikes about 2-3 inch long. I then put 4 bales of shavings on top of the harrow before I tow it round the school, to make sure the spikes dig up the sand enough!!

some old zig zag harrows should do the trick. cheaper than manage graders ect
