Hi our horses have been offered grazing for a couple of weeks at a neighbouring farmers field - the last horses (3 of them) were moved off in October- the owner did not visit them regularly and so poo picking was not done regularly. We were fencing it and cleaning out the water trough yesterday and there was a small red worm in the water - does anyone know if the horse type red worm can be in water?
I know that their life cycle can be up to 2 years even if the pasture has had snow on it so unsure whether to put our horses on there. Ours had pramox at the correct time.
