I have a horse that was bred in Ireland, he is freeze marked but apart from that I dont know much about him. Is there anyway to trace him through freeze mark does anyone know?

Is he microchipped? If he is it is worth checking with SJAI, Dressage and Eventing Ireland etc. I managed to trace a horse through a chip from SJAI once.

Is micro chipped but only done recently all passport says is breeder unknown ireland

my cob was also bred in ireland. we got his microchip scanned and they managed to trace him way back right to when and where he was born 
if ur horse isnt micro chipped and if ur really desprate u could trace back through his owners starting from whoever u bought him from and see how far u get xx
