How to word grass livery ad without being discriminatory - help

I would like to offer a couple of grass livery vacancies this summer and I would like to offer the places to horses I would consider more vulnerable ie those who are retired or unrideable through injury but field sound as I feel this group are hardest hit because quite understandably owners don't won't to pay huge livery costs for horses they can't ride.

I have advertised before and been overwhelmed with people wanting such a livery but am not sure how to word the ad so as not to attract normal ridden horses.

Any thoughts folks

Yeah I thought about that but wasn't sure if people would think that specialised and therefore expensive. I know what you mean though it does cover what i'm offering apart from the injured - LOL maybe

As you say, something along the lines of retirement livery offered suitable for horses no longer in work due to age or injury. My old boy was field sound (and indeed for the last summer sound enough to do in hand showing but not ridden) and it was nice for him to be turned out with some other old codgers. They were all early to mid twenties and I think it was nice for them to be in a group and not bothered by silly young things wanting to gallop round the field (apologies to silly young things - phrase is used tongue in cheek to get an idea across!).
 
Livery available offering xyz would suit retired or recuperating horse?

I wouldn't be worrying about being discriminatory, with any horse/rider looking for livery you want to go somewhere you'll fit in and I'd rather just read a straight forward ad that tells me the main points than ring someone up and find out then.
 
Yes you're right there are some good suggestions thank you very much, it shouldn't hurt to identify the groups I am looking for. xx
 
My yard offers Retirement/Convalescent livery. The horses are barefoot and trimmed once a month. They are fed and checked twice a day and have hay in field.

However, it is a little expensive because the yard take all the responsibility for them.

If the horse returns to work then it goes back onto full/part livery.

I bet you will choose who you want!!!

I certainly wouldnt livery with you after your comments on another thread on here!!!!
