ok so my lovely old horse is ill and im expecting his vets bills to take all my money and more...

whats on ebay but the bloomin' exact saddle i want for my youngster!

right size right model right colour

what are the chances? someone up there is laughing at me, lol

They are laughing at me too. Horse has been out of action since April, joint mouse removed (bone chip in fetlock going for a swim in synovial fluid making her on/off lame) inflamed tendon sheath on hind leg and now laminitis from new hay as was all thats available so now having to buy haylage for laminitics (vets advice).
Its all good fun, you have to laugh. I swear horse heard me talk about Summer Dressage ideas and thought no chance, haha.!!

lets hope so clairefeekerry1 !

izzwizz, comiserations to you too

im probably mildly hysterical right now about the horse, then i see my perfect £1700+ saddle on ebay for hundreds...

Saw my vet bill with one eye closed and though thank god for NFU. Wouldnt like to think I was having to pay that. Hopefully yours wont be too bad and maybe the saddle wont sell and will be put back on ebay.

We are having an expensive time dealing with our mare Rowenna, she has a fractured side bone in the foot, and extra growth on the pedal bone. Several call outs and mis-diagnosis' later, she went for x-rays and found the cause of her lameness, the x-rays also showed no sign of any arthritis at the age of 23! Lucky girl!

Now we definitely need the vet to come back - they didn't send her back with her travel boots! :O
