How warm do you reckon a Coolex rug is?

As I often have to put a sweaty/wet horse to bed I am considering the Coolex stable rug - it is basically a Coolex with nylon outer. How warm do you reckon these are? I have a normal Coolex and it does seem pretty warm.

Light or medium weight? In terms of fill, what do you reckon the equivalent would be - 200?

I would stick a summer sheet over the top of your Coolex!

That's what I do with my Thermatex anyway.

I consider my Thermalux quite warm. Definitely a medium'ish warmth.

Rideaway website say that their Coolex turnout is actually the equivalent of medium to heavyweight... look here:

I think this should still be valid for your stable rug.

I use mine when most other people are in MWs.

It's definitely warmer than a LW stable rug, but as you say is a good way of getting around the issue of a putting away a slightly damp horse.
