I lost the strap (for the martingale) off my Whitaker burgundy leather kick girth back in the summer. Presumed I'd lost it in the jumping field when I had used the girth with no martingale. Got to the yard last night and the strap is hung up on the notice board and had been found on the yard??????? AND its in the same condition as it was when I lost it!

So its not been out in the rain, but it must have been 6 mths since I lost it, and I know it was mine as no one else on the yard has a whitaker girth, or bugundy tack!

It must have been borrowed! We have someone on our yard that claims anything that is found, so now we don't bother asking anybody if they have seen, we go straight to her. No wonder she has got lot's of 'spares'.
