I have recently been lucky enough to get a lorry, and now have my virtually new Ifor Williams and my scrummy 4x4 that need to be sold to pay for the lorry!!! I am just interested to know what you all think, should I advertise them together as a package, or put the trailer on somewhere like Horsemart and the car in Autotrader? I hate selling stuff, its always such a hassle waiting for people who never turn up, tyre kickers etc.

Why don't you advertise them separately but put in the trailer ad that you also have a 4x4 available by separate negotiation? Good luck selling them, hope you don't get too many timewasters but unfortunately, it goes with the territory.

Good idea !! Thanks for the tip, may well do this. It could work both ways on both adverts. Fingers crossed they go quickly.

I put my trailer on Horsemart & it was sold to the first person to come & see it. I had to cancel 3 other potential buyers who were due to come.

I would put up the 4x4 on one of the photos with the trailer & make mention that it is for sale aswell. I'd then put the 4x4 for sale separately on Auto Trader. That way you've got most bases covered.

Good Luck
