bad, bad memories
similar thing happened to me in 2001, my horse stopped dead at fence 3, 20 metres from collecting ring, and i went slowly over her shoulder....revealing my teddy bear knickers through see-thro jods to the world! nasty

well reminds me of this sunday...as you all probably know it pissed it down and my jods got very wet and i was at a competition, i was about to remount my horse and i could feel that my jods were really low down so i tried to pull them up but because they were wet they had stuck to me so i thought 'oh well' and preceded to get on my horse, as i did i rippped the whole crotch of my jods, it was sooooo embarrasing and when i was trotting i made sure it was sitting trot, luckily this was after the dressage and before the sj!!! i never want it to happen again! so embarrasing.
 
*shudders* the worst thing was, the fittest guy in the pony club was watching, and i soooooooooooo wanted to impress him

somehow i think that sight was probably enough to turn him gay! lol! i have it on video too somewhere, which was even worse!

just thinking bout it, we had the most goddawful time that day....it was PC area jumping, and we were the A team(!) i fell off, the oldest in the team racked up 56 faults, the one who always goes clear forgot fence three and the one who always got eliminated went clear! then we had a blow out on the way home!!!!

I'd feel pretty embarrassed to wear granny-knickers regardless of whether anyone could see them or not! Yuck! No idea how anyone can be comfortable in those big bags, LOL!!
 
awww gawd! I think i'd cry! A friend of mine had that happen to him, but in the warm up- completely ripped them up so had to go around in his trackies! We said he must have scarred the kids for life who were also in there!
 
I can guess pretty much how it feels - I dismounted at a competition on a very hot day, caught the bottom button of my shirt on something on the saddle - we were never quite sure what - and all the buttons pinged off one by one
