how would you sell yourself :)

17.2hh (and still growing) 2,5 year old liver chestnut mare (converted human to horse years :) ) wall eyed
She has amazing potential to be an eventing star IF she likes you... very opinionated, intelligent and manipulative, will get her way if not, will throw a massive strop, get you injured and then give you the silent treatment UNTIL she gets her way. however, if she likes you, she's fairly easy going. At first, she hates everyone so please do not be put off by her if she bites or kicks you when you first come to see her. Whatever you do, do not bring children near that horse, and do not smother her with affection, give her as many treats as you like but expect to be bitten if you don't give her any. She will require full set of expensive boots and very expensive saddle and bridle when broken, otherwise will refuse to do anything. Loves being groomed, hates mud and any kind of dirt. Loves jumping and hacking on her own, jumps out of the field and stable and goes for a walk around the villlage daily. Experienced hunter, follows the hunt on her own whenever they're near. Only eats haylage. Good to load, shoe, catch (if in the field at the time), clip etc. Can be a handful on the ground when having a bad day. Definitely not for a novice. Minimum of 10 viewings advised.

Had a few successful races, but broke down due to a difference of opinions, she wanted to do it her way, the trainer didn't. She has her off days, just like everyone else, and though successful when she wants, can fly off the handle. Would do well in 3 day eventing, would be terrible at dressage, but has more then enough potiental to do well at jumping. Wouldn' buy personally, but someone might want her.

I think i'd be on project horses...

15.2hh 4 year old mare, currently a dark palomino but does brighten up in the summer months. Very loving and loyal, will try her heart out for the right person, though can be stubborn if she doesn't agree with her rider or something she's asked to do.
Loves jumping and fun rides, extremely forward going and bouncy ride, not at all suitable for a novice as she'd probably walk all over them. Not the biggest fan of dressage or schooling but will tolerate small amounts if highly rewarded afterwards. Enjoys hacking but routes must be kept varied, as she gets bored easily and will probably throw you off and go home if you repeat the same ride too many times. Prefers to hack in company as can be a bit of a wuss, but is probably more sensible by herself. Can sometimes lack in confidence, but soon picks it back up again if the rider is understanding.
She has done a small amount of showing and really enjoyed herself, she could probably do well in this discipline with more experience.
Can be impatient - unfortunately not the type of horse you can leave tacked up at the side of the lorry while you go and grab a coffee, she will start the ride without you if kept waiting.
Must be ridden a minimum of 5 days per week or will become a bit of a nightmare and start to create her own entertainment by destroying your fields and popping next door to visit the neighbours horses. Very sociable and gets on with most people & horses, would be happiest on a small but friendly yard. A fun horse to have around, always finding ways to make others laugh. She is quite intelligent & quick thinking which means she can be a bit of a handful at times, though is generally well mannered and polite.
Unfortunately she is a fussy eater, will be obsessed with one feed for about a week and then refuse to eat it ever again. She can tell the difference between the cheap haylage and the expensive one, and will not be fooled into eating it when she knows there is nicer stuff in the next stable. Can box walk or weave when excited, though stops when asked.
Insuring her is highly recommended upon purchase, as she is incredibly accident prone & always on box rest, your vet will become your best friend. However she is perfectly happy to stay in her stable and will stand forever to be pampered while she's there.
Free to whoever will take her.
