My mare is 5 months now, so nearly half way (where does the time go!) Shes very touchy about her back end but is doing well. She likes to just be left alone to brood haha shes very bonded to my other mare when usually she is more bonded to my gelding. Nothing to see yet but then she is hidden quite well by a 1.5 inch thick layer of fluff.

Must try to get some pics of her that are NOT wet soggy abused looking types.

My mare is due beginning of April. Not long left :)

Got a pic today. I Can't see much difference between show pic (just before breeding) and 5 months in pic lol she is not a showy mare.

When exactly is you girl due equi? My standard Shetland is due early July. She us even more hairy and certainly more mud covered than your lovely girl. Mine is grumpy and keeping herself to herself. Will try and get some pics up tomorrow .

Due july. American minis seem to keep trimmer than the native types. I have to say, both my mares are very clean. Never muddy. Its very handy haha

My mare is getting very big - due in May.
I'm not sure if it was my imagination but I think I saw movement the other day. Very excited - watched to see if it happened again, but it didn't

I think you strain your eyes watching lol but you very well could have, its not unheard of. Sometimes i think i do, then i remind myself shes breathing! lol

My welsh cob mare is in foal for the first time (to another registered welsh cob) - due sometime at the end of April/beginning of May. Foal will be my first, personal homebred, although my family have bred in the past.
She is doing well, starting to look big now! She has been very grumpy though, although has chilled out slightly now.

My mare is a little over 8 months now and has looked fairly shapely for a while, but is starting to look quite large now. Struggling to upload a picture. Can I ask what people would be feeding at this stage? She is on good quality haylage and I've not long started giving her a bit of 'Gain opti-care balancer' with a bit of chaff. I was told I the feed merchants thst a balancer is better than a stud mix

I think stud feeds have more protein and calcium for fetal development. Balances are mostly just vitamins.

My first mare who 316 days currently. She broke pelvis and has nerve damage so lucky to be alive. Can't wait to see what pops out. She going Infoal to Glocks Zonik next if all goes well with this one. She by Glocks Johnson and rising 5.
