A few weeks ago, looking a just a few pounds too heavy for me as he'd not been doing as much work:
Early summer:
Last winter/spring I did a lot of work with him on the lunge mostly using draw reins over his back & between his legs to a headcollar, and his neck did improve & bulk up. He's had a lot of time off since september and so seems to have lost a lot of muscle
He's got quite a scrawny neck anyway so would like to do anything I can to help improve it, especially as we aim to compete at BD this winter
